Toowoomba Flower Festival 2026 Toowoomba Flower Festival is a great way to capture the beauty of the world around you. I use my Nikon Coolpix P1000 to Focus on the beauty of our flora, both native and exotic. Where we are in the sub tropics of Queensland; Toowoomba is our best chance of capturing tulips in the garden and fruit trees in autumn colour.

Roses are a delight to see in Spring Don't let Spring go by without visiting the Botanical Gardens Maleny also includes a Birdworld where you can feed the birds or have photos with them. Life is too beautiful to miss out on. Why not explore the world while you can? The roses are looking great at Maleny Focus on the subject, it's best if you can keep it centred Each image is unique a moment in time captured on your camera

I used my Nikon Coolpix P1000 to capture the Lunar Eclipse in March. It is important to keep your subject in the focal box the entire time you zoom into the subject and keep the camera steady that is why a good camera stand is recommended. Lunar Eclipse March 3 : 2026
